Newbery Advisory

Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains what information Newbery Advisory collects through this website and how we use it. It is intended as a practical, plain-English summary for visitors and prospective clients.

Who is responsible for your data

Newbery Advisory is the data controller for the information collected through this website. For any data protection matter, contact Gareth Newbery at gareth@newberyadvisory.com. [PLACEHOLDER: registered legal entity name and tax identification number to be confirmed.]

Legal basis for processing

Contact form submissions and enquiry correspondence are processed on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. Marketing emails are sent only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any message or writing to gareth@newberyadvisory.com.

What the contact form collects

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, organisation, email address and message you provide. We do not request or store special category personal data.

Why we use that information

We use the information you submit only to respond to your enquiry, arrange an initial conversation if appropriate, and follow up with relevant information about working together. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

How enquiries are handled

Enquiries are received by Gareth Newbery and handled directly. Replies are sent from customerservice@newberyadvisory.com. Where you choose to book a conversation via Calendly, the meeting details you provide there are processed by Calendly under their own terms.

How long information is retained

We retain enquiry messages for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond and maintain a record of our correspondence — typically up to 24 months from your last contact — after which they are deleted unless you have become a client and we have a contractual reason to retain them.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses minimal cookies needed to operate. We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are viewed; this does not identify you personally. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of named service providers acting as sub-processors: Lovable and Cloudflare for website hosting and delivery, Supabase for data storage, Resend for transactional email, Google Workspace for business email, and Calendly for scheduling. Some of these providers are established outside the European Economic Area; where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, those transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop processing it. To make a request, contact customerservice@newberyadvisory.com.

For any privacy question, email customerservice@newberyadvisory.com.

Complaints to a supervisory authority

If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) in Spain, or the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom.
